Parlor Stove

This parlor stove is an ornamental wood or coal burning. It is cast iron stove, which was popular in the 19th and early 20th centuries. The stove is a collectible piece that can either be decorative or used for heat. It has been restored with chrome trim.

It's made by Merit Orbon Stove & Range Co., Belleville, Ill. Merit was founded in 1902 and manufactured stoves until the 1950s.
